#YellowLikeA🍋 demonstrated that dressing consciously doesn’t mean giving up the things you love about fashion; your mindset is the only thing that has to change. Marina aimed to disprove misconceptions about sustainable fashion (that it is limited, boring, overpriced, etc.) by showing how versatile, colorful, trendy, and accessible it truly is.
The campaign launched during Paris FW19 incorporating +50 brand partners, highlighting the 4 Ss of Conscious Fashion:
Simplify (rewear what you already own)
Share (borrow or rent)
Secondhand (and/or upcycled)
Sustainably Sourced (conscious brands)
For two months, Marina challenged herself to wear fully yellow looks that follow these guidelines. By limiting herself to yellow—arguably one of the most “difficult” colors—Marina proved that it’s possible for anyone to express themselves, experiment with style, and love what they wear all while embracing more responsible values.
Marina’s journey was followed on social media and beyond, gaining international coverage in press outlets among the likes of Vogue, L’Official, and Schön!. The initiative finalized with a send-over event in NYC with more than +180 VIP attendees, all wearing responsibly sourced yellow outfits.
